TRUE LOVE CALLS

my incense to God

things that i have come to like(&love??) in bermuda

Staying here in bermuda for 3 years & 6 months (and still counting?) has made me appreciate certain things that i havent considered doing or liking when i was still in the philippines... the 1st year was like bleak and dreary... but i needed to "amuse and motivate" myself inorder to survive... and im thankful that ive come to like and love these simple and sometimes unappreciated things.. but others come with a (high) price...

portmeirion- been influenced seeing all of Mrs. Shiela Gosling's^__^ collection....she has quite a collection of this from saucers to clocks and even her lampshade.. you name it, she has it..
Clinique&MAC- an answer to all the dryness( be it summer or winter), discoloration and (wrinkles?)& lip care.... thanks to "our" beauty consultant cousin, Nang Lina..im not yet into make-ups....i have never been a fan of cosmetics nor fashion...hehehe
pure memory- there's nothing to do but click here and there...ive developed a knack for taking pictures (in an amateurish way i should say)
gift certificates- always present in any occasion or events...
travelling- ive come to realize that going on a trip is such a good experience... a breather to keep up your sanity but it can dig a hole in your pocket...
cards..cards..cards...- in here, you have to have a card ready for any occasion... it is rude not to hand in a card to someone on special occasions.. people here would have those cards displayed and even hang it on their christmas tree unlike in the philippines where it can directly burn into the fire (as a substitute for firewood?)
internet connection... if all lights are up, it means that we can stay glued looking at our computer as long as you like..
truffles- this really melts in your mouth..do they have milk chocolate ones/

pistachio- one of my loving greens... love this better than peanuts..
okra- baby or not, i can just boil water and throw them into the pot and i would have my fish sauce and vinegar ready for my dip... i was happy to see it in the frozen section of the supermarket..
butter- breakfast is just simple...just a piece or two of toast and butter 'em up... i've never liked butter in the philippines nor star margarine...
boiled sweet corn- couldnt have imagined having this as a substitute for my rice...
mussels- priceylicious... but it's always a treat to have this.. either you flavor it and mix with spinach... or put it in the oven with finely chopped garlic and butter...
banana- my friend in the morning... a piece of banana before my morning coffee and toast or oats... my morning is not complete unless i have this passing down my throat

PS. lobster.... kiwi are not included in pictures but boy oh boy...ive become a lobster and kiwi lover... i dont mind about the price for now..hehehe..

i thank God for all His goodness in my life!!!! and i give Him all the glory!!!!

here's my answer

this reminds me...

not long ago, somebody asked me, "do you like g.o.d.?" i thought it was like a joke or a profanity of some sort... so i didnt really give it much thought and just shrugged it off... then a lot of things happened after that... just a few weeks back, i was watching something in youtube and i searched about g.o.d..... and it brings back all the bitter-sweet memories about "g.o.d.".... g.o.d. can you hear me?? and g.o.d. is (still) very silent ",) thank you g.o.d. for showing me what real love is....i know i am still loving g.o.d.!!
